A star on Durham Live Avenue
Pickering Casino Resort stands at 888 Durham Live Avenue, Pickering, ON L1W 0C1. It is a full casino with a hotel attached. Its official grand opening came on April 26, 2023. In this guide it is one of the rooms of the Greater Toronto constellation, a fairly new light in that part of the sky.
The arrangement follows Ontario's model. Ontario's land-based casinos are conducted and managed by OLG, with day-to-day operations contracted to private service providers. Here that provider is Great Canadian Entertainment, which runs the resort.
